Zimbabwe has recorded the lowest number of deaths since the COVID-19 third wave hit the country in June.

According to the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) Daily Situational Reported the country recorded 49 new cases and 2 deaths on 12 September 2021.
Commenting through a social media platform Dr Grant Murewanhema, a local public Health Expert and Epidemiologist advised the nation to get vaccinated and continue observing the World Health Organization and the national lockdown so as to keep the numbers down.
“We must pray and hope that the current downward trajectory is real, and maintained. Meanwhile let’s continue guarding against complacency, and being vaccinated,” Dr Murewanhema said.
